Our spy photographers have this morning sent through these pictures of 2010 Audi R8 Sports Club on their way to Germany’s famous Nurburgring.

Sporting a large, fixed rear wing, larger exhaust outlets and augmented diffuser, CS model is also equipped with a re-designed rear bumper with air intakes on the sides. The front bumper is also new, slightly lower, with small wings on each side. We can also see larger, carbon ceramic brakes.

Over the next few years, Audi has five variants of the R8 production. Besides R8 Coupe, these include V8 and V10-powered models, a convertible and a tuned variant - as pictured one. # #

It is expected that tuned variant will carry CS (Club Sport) or GT moniker.

With the exception of additional power, the CS model is also expected to have lost weight over its standard sibling. The extensive use of carbon fiber is expected to shave a few dozen kilograms.
